WotLK Multiple cases of game client not responding to keyboard or mouse at launch.

I've been getting a few of my friends to play on Warmane (you guys are great btw), but two of them have been experiencing a strange issue, so I decided to collectively file a bug report for the both of them, and I thought I'd put it in here as well. If any information needs to be provided from either of them, it's readily available.

They boot up the game, it starts up as normal, except the game doesn't respond to any of my inputs from my keyboard or mouse. Worthy of note is that, unlike a normal boot-up for the game, their normal mouse cursor is visible on screen instead of the in-game cursor. Each of them experienced the same thing until they reset their computer. Any idea of what's causing thing, and how it can be prevented so we can just jump right in without any technical difficulties?

Please test your mouse on another surface and/or another USB socket?

What if you login to the game, navigate to the Options -> Advanced menu and then disable Reduce Input Lag and Hardware Cursor?
