How is it now with the Point Shop? can I only start earning points now if I have earned a minimum of 1k achievements in one of my characters on my account ?

if im not mistaken, you only have to go as far as the character selection,then you can log out of you want. you dont even have to log onto a char to be eligible for the daily points.
also, points start with 0.4(I think) @1k achieves and ramp up by .1 ever 1k
