Overmaster Pyron burned my graphics card

I spent about hour to find peoples to BRD, got quest for Shadowforge Key. Released my spirit at the entrance (death is req for taking quest for Shadowforge Key), Overmaster Pyron attacked me and I got full screen of glitches as on NES. It's one of his hidden abilities?
