Could the spawn rate for Humar the Pridelord be increased?

This mob makes for a particularly striking hunter pet. However, as the only mob with this model and with an 8-12 hour respawn, he is extremely difficult to tame. This issue is further compounded because multiple hunters will camp him, then kill him to keep another hunter from taming him. It is essentially impossible for the Alliance to access this particular pet as well; since it lives in the Barrens and is so rare, no Alliance can possibly survive the many hours needed to successfully find Humar, much less survive to tame him.
I think all these problems could be addressed or at least mitigated if the respawn rate went up to once an hour or so.

It's a rare pet, difficult to acquire and with people that want to keep others from having it. All part of the game, all that should be dealt with in the game, no "problem" that requires any custom tweak.
