1. Windfury on both weapons?

should you have windfury on both weapons or windfury and flametongue? for lvling and for pvp/pve

  2. read a guide that enhancement shamans should have windfury on both

    that's all i got lol

  3. Yes, use last-rank Windfury Weapon on both your weapons. Regardless of the shared ICD, it is still better than WF/FT. Don't use different ranks on different weapons - they all share the same ICD.

Flametongue OH is only better on lower gear. During leveling you should use Rockbiter + Flametongue for the best damage. Most people don't do this, however, because they just like the WF procs and burst potential.

  4. Try to get a slow MH and OH and imbue them with WF/WF. It yields the most dps in TBC.
If u have a fast OH such as a dagger it means that your OH is much more likely to be the first one to hit outside of a WF cooldown and will "steal" the potential chance to proc WF on the MH, placing your main hand on lockdown. In order to maximize the potential for MH procs the OH needs to be as slow as possible.
In case u have only a fast OH then imbue it with FT.

  5. just 1 more thing to add here.

it is a good idea to get 2 weapons of equal speed (usually 2.6 since its the most common) this is because if they hit at the same time (also applies to stormstrike) it will ALWAYS prefer the main hand WF procc over the off hand if both weapons procc. If the main hand doesn't procc the offhand has still a chance to procc WF. Therefore you get more MH than OH proccs when you use weapons of the same speed. But the damage advantage over 2.7/2.6 combo is nearly non existent. Yes, you get slightly more MH proccs but with the slower 2.7 weapon the MH WF proccs do more dmg and stormstrike hits harder.

Another thing to mention is if you get below 1.5 attack speed because of DST/BL/haste potion and stuff like that only every 3rd hit can procc wf instead of every 2nd. But again the dmg you gain from haste is higher than what you lose in WF proccs.

  6. Yes. As slow weapons as possible in both hands.
