Whats the best item from the point shop? Have 40pts for new 80 war.

I'm about to hit lvl 80 with my warrior. She's going to be fury dps for a start, and she's got two heirloom weapons +chest +shoulders on her right now.

What do you guys think is the best items for her from the *point* store?

Probably 232-239 item level offset pieces, or trinkets.

assuming server Wotlk Icecrown, warrior fury, priotizing armor penetration (arpen) build

1. weapon for Main Hand (MH) since it contributes alot in GS : https://db.warmane.com/wotlk/item=45516

for Off Hand (OH), you can try farming Pit of Saron (PoS) HC : https://db.warmane.com/wotlk/item=50267
note : I dont think weapon on OH contributes much on GS, may need to be tested further

2. trinket : https://db.warmane.com/wotlk/item=47214 ; yes its low ilvl but its kinda the best deal you can get ; sells for 11 points
note : can be farmed Trial of Crusader Normal

3. neck : https://db.warmane.com/wotlk/item=45459 ; normally it drops from raid Ulduar; we rarely find any neck with arpen on dungeon HC



side note:
when purchasing from vote points, prioritize purchasing items you can not achieve easily on dungeon/raid or items with many competition

Definitely get 1 trinket. You can get the FoShc arp trinket next to that.
Do NOT get a weapon. You can get a battered hilt (251 weapon) for a really good price.
A neck is debatable, but I think it's a good bet. The highest neck you can buy is 226 with heroism.
A belt is also a solid option since you can max. get a 226 for that slot as well outside of raids.
