WotLK Character screen

I really wasn't sure where to put this because I didn't see an area where I could contact a Developer. Here's my problem, I start the game and log in, but when it gets to the character screen it says, Downloading Update.. and then it says there is a patch required so it gives me an option to restart the game. I click it and it says "Failed to update patch." and asked me to try again or contact technical help. I tried 3 different times but to no avail. I even reinstalled the game. Is anyone else having this problem? Any help is appreciated, Thanks. P.S - i'm trying to connect to the wrath servers.

you need to log-in by using warmane Account name, not email address
