Global Chat Moderation

Global chat is always full of spam and *****s ****-talking about how the server is dead/dying.
Why is there no moderation/no rules? People dont get muted/punished.

Global chat would be a much nicer place if there were rules in place.

My bet would be on staff having others things to do.

How would it work? Somebody watching it during the day? With no means of quickly reporting players in chat it'd take too much effort to moderate it.

I suggest using ignore list.

That is correct. It will be an overkill to watch chats on every realm 24/7.

It might be abused!

I suspect most players have already ignored those certain spamming meme-jokers. If your ignore list is full, try the "IgnoreMore" addon for 2.4.3!
