Fishing is so slow!!!!?

Hey guys,

Still new to the private servers, but is it just me or does the fishing take forever?! I did the first 200 levels easy-peezy. Afterwards, I would catch an average of 20-30 fish and get 3 levels. It convinced me I wasn't fishing in the right spots, but if I can remember correctly didn't Blizz allow you to fish anywhere as long as you did it enough? I literally had to old-school go to each lowbie zone and farm in the correct spots like this was Vanilla again. Geez, I honestly believe I can level this skill faster on the live version. I'm currently sitting at 309 in Zangarmarsh fishing in the appropriate zones to level.

I was in org till about 250 i think, then I got pissed, went to Ungoro, till bout 300. From there the lake next to shatrah till some 340 if possible then Borean with a lure and it gets easier.
