Mongoose not being lootable

So I've heard from two guilds now that have had the same problem. Mongoose have dropped, but not been able to loot it, despite having several enchanters in the raid. Any and all threads and tickets have been deleted and closed without any answers.

This seems like a pretty major problem that should be fixed asap.

Try passing master looter to someone in your raid that does not have enchanting. We've managed it that way with Mongoose & Soulfrost. Same counts for Tailoring patterns, let someone without tailoring be the master looter. Works most of the time but we also had one instance where we were unable to loot Soulfrost at all.

We've had the best results with Group Loot. If you're in a guild run, people ninja'ing loot should not be a concern.
With Group Loot, any pattern where someone in the raid has the appropriate profession will pop up as an item to roll on for them.
This prevents you from missing any patterns, or trash epics that will disappear with the body in 30 seconds after they die.
I feel like Group Loot is definitely the best way to go until specific encounters, if you wish to ML.

This is an issue with all the patterns in SSC/TK also, if the person looting has the profession tied to the pattern in question they cannot loot it, so you have to pass master looter to someone else without that profession to deal with it. So for example if the master looter is a leatherworker, he/she can't assign leatherworking patterns with ML.
