Burning Crusade Lupos = Physical damage.? need answers

hi ho all,

just a quick question as i assumed from various threads and forums (info may be wrong) that lupos is a rare pet form dusk wood who does 100% shadow damage

please if any1 can confirm or crush this theory i would appreciate it.
