WotLK Settings resetting when game closes, help ?

Hello !
I'm dealing with a small but rather annoying problem with my game.
So each time I open the game, the settings are set on default. So I change them everytime on the login screen, and it resets again when i close and open back up the game. Rather annoying when some settings change are only active when the game is reopened.
Can anyone help me with this ?

Find the location where you installed wow, open the folder, inside that find a folder called "WTF", right click it, select properties and uncheck read only. It will ask for a few confirmations and you should be fine the next time.

Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC ( this is important)
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".

@skullbashat I too am having the same problem... I tried your steps and still cannot make uncheck read only stay.
