I was reading the 2.3.0 patch notes over on wowwiki and noticed some changes were made to the racial weapon specializations in patch 2.3.0, the racial should provide 1% crit and not 5 expertise.
As we're essentially on patch 2.4.3 with everything (itemization/quests/talents etc.) besides available raids and PvP items shouldn't this be implemented on Outland/Medivh?
I play a human rogue and in all the 2.4.3 pve guides and theorycrafting they always take into account the human expertise racial in expertise-cap calculations, as well as I don't seem to find any bugreports on the topic, so I suddenly became unsure.
This probably isn't well documented. But I believe this is how it went. Please correct if wrong.
2.0-2.2 -> was weapon skill - increases skill with maces and swords by x
2.3 -> weapon skill items removed, changed weapon skill to expertise. Spec changed to crit.
2.4 -> 1% crit was changed back to expertise.
An example of this is Belt of 100 deaths origninally having dagger skill on it until 2.
