Alliance vs Horde population

I wanna make a Horde character, but I heard Horde became a desert and everyone just goes Alliance, and that kinda discouraged me. Is it still like this, or its more blanced now?

I do not really think that it's that much of a difference.
For example, around noon, when I play - Alliance barely wins a BG which can tell you that many good players are still in the Horde and continue to play there.
I can't say much for PvE.

And for PvE, it is balanced too... you have few good guilds in ally, and few in horde

Its true horde is kinda dead! Its obvious that most pvp players are on ally side u can see that by checking armory! And for pve there are 2-3 good guilds on each side but the point is those good guilds on ally side are much more populated than horde's! A great proof can be that day that warmane released celestial bosses u had triple population from alliance in timeless!!

Yea, most good players are on ally side, but I think that you should roll horde and learn your class so that horde wont die.
