WotLK Best class to match with a rogue ?

Hey everyone, my brother started playing here as I advertised him, he's now a lvl 80 rogue.

I would like to play with him, and we prefer pvp (world, bg and maybe arena if we have enough time) I'd like to play a caster class (SP/frost mage/lock) or my favorite class : sham. But whats the best to play with a rogue ?

Both Spriest/rogue and frost mage/rogue are strong comps in arena. Battlegrounds favor the Spriest as it can provide far more support to the rogue in the chaotic environment of a BG, where the CC of a frost mage isn't as valuable. Destruction warlock/rogue can also work very well but it's for the most part an inferior version of frost mage/rogue. elemental/rogue and enh/rogue are terrible and a significantly worse versions of Spriest/rogue. Resto shaman/rogue can work just by the virtue of being a healer/dps comp but it's far from optimal.

My advice would be to roll an Spriest as it's good at everything with a rogue partner.
