Help for "new" player

Hey guys im new on Warmane and i am looking to play some of the previous expansions (probably tbc). I am completely new to the expansion, never tried it.
I cant choose which server i want to play on, I like Outlands 5x and i dislike the shop.
Medivh i dislike the 1x leveling.
Just to make sure can you actually buy the current tier gear on Outland?
If you have any suggestions and tips, feel free to let me know in the comments.

no , you can only buy items that are on farm , so now while t5 content is out like SSC-TK you can buy only t4 stuff from shop
