WotLK Mage spec election

Hi guys, im new and i want lvl a mage but i dont know wich spec is better Frost or Fire. Can u help me to decide? ty so much!

I liked my frost spec for leveling, switched to fire for later on pve. Haven't tried leveling as fire, not a mage expert, just that frost wasn't bad leveling, not bad at all.

I did frost as leveling, then as a fresh 80 swapped to arcane since the hit cap is alot lower and now my off spec is fire as i slowly gear up to it

Frost for lvling unless you have friends to help you. As frost you can solo (almost) all elite quests with mobs that can be somewhat CCd. For example I solo'd an 80 elite giant with 300k+ health pool at lvl 77.

Frost is always the better option for leveling solo, although I leveled as fire simply because I find it more fun.

I don't think it matters that much if you're playing in Icecrown.
