Hi,

Are you sure it has been fixed? Our tank is getting damaged for 30-40k random hits, before switching phase, and at 100% debuff.

Never happened before, but now in 3 tries it happened twice.

So it's not critical strikes then? Still need to have def cap for that boss. Never seen a crushing blow on him tbh.

Yeah, def capped and resistance geared.

We didn't have this problem prior to yesterdays update.

Yep, same thing happend to our guild. He cant be done at the moment.

Hydross should (in his pre-nerf state) be able to deal crushing blows. Some proof is that it was explicitly stated in a hotfix that he will no longer be doing it, meaning that he was able to before. https://web.archive.org/web/20070328...85661942&sid=1

Even though OP titled the thread "crushing blows", he's not actually talking about crushing blows. Hydross will often hit -a fully resist geared- tank for a non-crushing 18-20k at mark 3 (which is a one-shot). Has the QA/dev team acknowledged that this is unintentional?

Hydross is easier now then before cause we didnt get ANY 1 shots like we got before. So no idea what ur on about. Tanks need 365 ressistance and 490 defense for your information. And you cant tank at 100%. Thats when u switch

It would help if you mention what stats/talents/class you're running when you get hit for 20k.
We did it this week, Hydross sometimes hits me for ~17k frost, but it it's survivable (i had 19k+ HP this week)

I'm running tauren prot warr @ def cap + 366 resist + 6% magic dmg reduction, normal demo shout.

About the same stats (both tanks warriors), except we are alliance so without the tauren racial its always a one shot. And not always 20k, varies from 18-20k.
