What is the Inquisition?
The idea of the guild was derived from the Warhammer 40k Inquisition order. To put it succintly: the Inquisition is a secret organisation that exists and conducts its affairs outside the standard administrative hierarchy of the Imperium of Man. The Inquisition acts as the clandestine guardians of the Imperium, hunting down any and all of the myriad would-be threats to the stability of the God-Emperor's realm (Icecrown!). Some of the founding members of the guild liked this idea and incorporated some additional RP elements, goodwill and a lot of fun to transform this concept into a WoW guild.

Who we are:
Experience, respect and most importantly, friendship, are some of the values that connect our members. A group of friends from vastly different backgrounds, origins, allegiances, and guilds, all bound together under a united banner to serve a holy cause. All of us have cleansed the realm of its ever-lurking threats multiple times, and proved beyond doubt our worth in the eyes of the God-Emperor. Excellence is not a goal we seek to actively demonstrate, but a virtue that we've long since embraced. Our remaining goal now is solely to have fun.

What does it mean to be an Acolyte of the Inquisition?
Being an Acolyte of the Holy Inquisition entails understanding and abiding by some rules. The most prime among them being the following three: Respect and dignify everyone as though they were your equals, but submit to the authority of your elders. If punished accept it, but seek to understand the reason for your punishment and resolve to improve. Last but not least, stay well clear of, and make every possible diplomatic effort to purge drama. A day of an Acolyte consists of the usual patrol routine as well as the regular check of the Ordos website via his dataslate.
Purging hours : 8PM - 11PM Server Time.
Primary days devoted to purging: Wednesday and Friday. Smaller-scale purges with a 10-man taskforce are conducted periodically throughout the rest of the week.
Current Excommunication orders from the administratum:
Heretek - Lich King. Status: Deceased
Xenos - Halion. Status: Exterminatus order pending.
Recruitment status: Invitation only! To join the guild someone already in has to vouch for you. Rare exceptions to fully geared and experienced applicants.

Hello, Holy Inquisition,
I recently came back on WoW through Warmane (I played on the game 10 years ago, and stopped 6 years ago). I read your description and it please to me a lot ; but one question persists in my mind. Are you a RP guild (totally or partially) ? I'm not sure to had understand. If you are, I would be tremendously interested to join your forces. with a tauren shaman (I absolutely want to test a elemental/enh hybrid) and, lately, with an immortal frost Death Knight (a specialisation I invented).
If you are making some RP and accept me, I immediatly quit Outland (where I don't find RP players) for joining you on Icecrown. I also like PvE, and my preference is for PvP. I am french but as you can see, we can communicate.
