Technical Help getting into MoP Client

Hello, I'm fairly new to private servers but ive done my research but i cant quite unterstand why it wont allow me to get into the mop server or even the launcher ive tried your wotlk and i got in fine but for some reason when i download the mop torrent the realmlist file is not where it should be in fact the only .wtf file is in a folder called WTF and even if i change the realm it doesnt work. An error message about one of the patches needing to be altered appears whenever I try to open wow.exe. Thank you for your help and time :D
