WotLK Unable to log in to WoW

So, I started playing today, got installed, logged in, played (sooo much fun and better than the full blown bubble-wrap WoW!), logged out for about an hour, and now I can't connect.
I haven't changed a thing that I know of, so I'm not sure what's changed for logging in. I enter my name and pword and then it just hangs - says 'connecting' then says it can't.

Suggestions?
