Minimal Vs Full Client?

Is there anyone that sees a noticable difference between the minimal and full client, or can help me out.

I was running minimal for MOP, noticed a tad of lag so i said why not went full and the damn full wont open whenever i click on the wow icon.

I only seem to get this error (and yes i tried admin mode):

Data/enGB/wow-update-enGB-18273.MPQ: World of Warcraft can’t make a required change to an archive file. Be sure you have write permission for the World of Warcraft folder or try running the game in administrator mode. For more information, see: https://battle.net/support/article/6910


So does anyone have a fix or should i just go back to minimal?

Sorry i can't help you, i'm struggling with the same problem, leaving a comment here in a wait for an answer.

To solve your problem follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC ( this is important)
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".

Minimal client allow to play while download the game. If you have lag it means your connection is not good enough so keep using full client after using the solution I gave you
