Hello,
I've remembered that there were PvP set obtainable from Outland reputations on achieving Honored. After further research I've found some more detailed information on them, but they are nowhere to be found in-game. (https://www.engadget.com/2008/04/22/...on-battlegear/)
Am I missing something here or is there a sensible reason of why they are missing in game?

Well it's because we haven't technically even progressed to 2.1(black temple) yet.
The reputation pvp sets will be out when S4 is out.

I think I need to make a clipboard with a reply for this question because it pops out every week.
But yeah, as svendl explained, the patch we are running on is 2.4.3 but the in-game progress is at 2.0, shortly before 2.1. This means that the PvP rep sets you're talking about = the current honor gear. They'll be available at mid-2018, maybe even later. That's around when S4 will come out.
