i don't know what you mean, but in TBC prot paladins use spell damage for threat.
you need a caster weapon.
130ish spell damage is enough to tank normals. you need to prioritize Def cap , then avoidance. after that stamina.
102.4 % total avoidance 490 defense is what you need for raiding 300+ spell damage is good, after that go for health.
