I'm playing blood dk dps and it's not fixed they only thing is fixed is that drw can crit but damage is still not 50% :)

DS crit for 42k, I think aside DRW blood have more pressing problems with calculation issue. as you can see in the video description the server is Barthilas(US retail server) http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Server:Barthilas_US

and he didn't even have STS. he is using Death's choice + DBW. and he still got a 42k crit from DS.

and you can clearly see no tot was given as well. Anyone else willing to give input on the HUGE damage difference?

and SM was added in patch 3.3 and he has SM so we can conclude this is after patch 3.3

and no change to DS or any other talent that will reduce any damage happened after that. u can confirm here as this the only time dk's got ability update after 3.3 was 3.3.3 : http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Patch_3.3.3

So yea, overall blood is hitting much less. his avg DS/HS hits. is the maximum dks get here.

If someone can show the logs thingy form worldoflogs that will be amazing


TDLR: if with DC hitting 42k. upgrading to STS is a huge upgrade 14.94%more arp to gem str and higher AP from proc. so damage should be much higher here and not even same...but atm it's much much less. getting a 30k crit inside icc is almost non existant on a bis BDK with full procs+taunka+food+flash+potion. u name it.

I think HS and DS can have same problem like frost strike - "Bonus damage of this ability is not affected by effects that increase damage, such as : Blood Presence, ICC Aura, Sanctified Retribution, Nerves of Cold Steel... " https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/21172 . But this need to be tested overall I got some 18-23k crits outside icc with taunka + full procs and shadow's edge so I think it's okay.

Same, thats outside ICC, inside ICC the damage is no where close to retail. have you ever gotten a 40k crit? and thats a dk who got 42 without even sts hc...

EDIT: didn't notice you say with SE, 23k crit self buffed with SE is kind of a LOT!. thats about the same with SM
highest self buffed crit with SM I've seen is probably 23-24k (on lvl 80 heroic dummy)

if you mean just outside icc but raid buffed then yea that might make more sense

In icc I didnt get more than 30k that's 23k was self buffed but in low lvl instance ,on raid with buffs like in voa I did 22k the most i think I have dbw normal and sts hc + se and I dont have professions to dps :P .I am looking for ds/hs attack power coefficient from wotlk but cant get it link me if you find sth.

I had honestly forgotten that BDK DPS existed. I don't think I have ever seen it working on Warmane and I've been playing here since 2010.

Ok I did some tests I equipped rusted pitchfork 5-8 damage unequipped trinkets,relic etc./things that can proc I did death strike 1958 damage then I stack my runic power to 25 and I did same 1958 damage so I can just say that glyph of deathstrike is not working :D
