Burning Crusade Downloading and playing in Germany

Hello everybody,
a month ago i moved to Germany and i heard that the download policy here is quite harsh and i was wondering if it's legal to download and play the warmane client without receiving any Straffen :D

It's a common misperception that the german law will sentence you for downloading clients or/and playing on private servers. I myself dont know of any cases in which someone got sued for playing on private servers.

So...yeah...go ahead: download the client and have a good time. (:
