SoundAlerter not announcing Banish
Hey,
I've downloaded SoundAlerter from the developer's GitHub, and it works fine - with exception of not announcing warlock's Banish.
This is strange because Banish is on the default list of spells, yet it doesn't get called out for some reason.
I even tried adding Banish as a custom alert together with a nice "ding" sound effect and all, and even that doesn't seem to work.
Thoughts?

there must be a file with all spell. Most likely the spellID of Banish is wrong and you need to correct it by your own

Thanks for the suggestion, but the spell's ID inside the .lua file is correct.
Forum Veteran
what is the spell ID inside .lua file ?
Edit: can you also give me download link of your Soundalert? the only one I have found does not have any Banish at all

Sure, I've downloaded it from the the GitHub link given in the official, from what I can tell, topic posted on these forums.

(Spell ID of Banish is 710 according to Wowhead, and it's the same in the .lua file.)

ok, you need to correct spellID.
710 is Rank1 http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/spell=710
You need to use SpellID of last rank ( which is rank2): 18647 http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/spell=18647

Oh wow, I'll try that, thanks!
I find this strange because, as far as I can tell, spell rank generally isn't an issue with these things, and the 710 Banish was the only type of Banish (castable by players) that I could find on Wowhead.
NO MORE GETTING BANISHED LIKE AN ***** YAY

Just posting again to confirm that IT WORKS.

What about that bug that keeps SoundAlerter quiet the entire arena and at the end you hear all at one the sounds that happened in the game before finishing?
Or those times where the addon doesn't start at all unless you /reload, is there something fixable to these issues?
