Will my current honor/arena points reset?
No, you will be able to keep your honor points and arena points for the new season. The current honor cap is 75k and the current arena points cap is 5k.
What will I need for 5/5 S1 main pieces which will now be buyable using honor?
Helm: 14500 Honor + 30 AV Marks
Shoulders: 11250 Honor + 20 AB Marks
Chest: 14500 Honor + 30 AB Marks
Gloves: 10500 Honor + 20 AV Marks
Pants: 14500 Honor + 30 WSG Marks
Total: 65250 Honor 50AV Marks 50AB Marks 30 WSG Marks
What will I need for the new offpieces?
Neck: 15300 Honor 10 EOTS Marks
Ring: 15300 Honor 10 AV Marks
Bracer: 11794 Honor 20 WSG Marks
Belt: 17850 Honor 40 AB Marks
Boots: 17850 Honor 40 EOTS Marks

Since S3 comes on a sunday, will there be a reset sunday and wednesday or how will that work?

Edited to clarify. That is the price for the S1 weapons once they are buyable with honor.
S3 weapon will require 1800 rating + arena points.

No. Season 2 offset gear is available for honor at the moment. Season 2 main set and weapons during season 3 cost arena points but at a reduced cost compared to the season 3 gear.

S2 should become available with Honor when S4 comes out with SWP, which should be around mid-to-late 2018, according to my estimates. And yes, this means that S3 will be extremely long - around half a year, at least. If anything, this means that going for arenas on S3 would be a worthwhile investment. Which is nothing bad. S3 was my favourite season on TBC.

They will not be reset with the new season. I imagine there was miscommunication that led the GM in question to believe otherwise.

sorry for not understanding this completely. My situation is following: I want to buy caster 1h weapon for arena points - atm i can buy s2 for 3,1k AP. Should i buy it now or wait for the new season to hit (and buy s2) ? thanks for any rational answer.
