After using them for a while they have started to feel pretty disgusting. Is there a way to download the old-model files and replace them?

Alternately if you don't wish to delete them, you could change their file-extensions to .disabled, like in this image.
(Note, if you still have the updated textures after deleting/disabling the files Upir mentioned, delete/disable the patch-x & patch-enUS-x files, as well. That worked fine for me.
