    Question about frost spec

    Hi. I have been levelling my mage as CS FFB. Froat spec has cathed my eye and i wanna try it but is it as viaböe as arcane or ffb mage? Does it peform good on raids and dungeons etc. Not reallyninterested in pvp but in pve.

    Frost is useless in PvE on WotLK. It was used on vanilla and TBC because everything had fire resistance back then. On WotLK, Blizz made an attempt to make Frost viable via Fingers of Frost and Brain Freeze. However, giving a spec 2 RNG talents does not make it viable in any way... And so the spec kept being used for PvP only.

    You should start with arcane spec at 80 till you're around 5.5k and doing 25 man raids.
