Okay, that is true. But check out armor, especially the pve sets, there it's not that reasonable to use pvp gear in pve.

Hunters do use s3 pvp helm in pve.

Because if you have not noticed, the PvP side has rushed ahead of the PvE scene. Hence when S4 comes S3 is likely to come in the shop.
As for your comment Cyphleet, all loot should be added in time just like on Icecrown, it works there and I see no reason for why it would not work here aswell.
