Is it a bug that the freezing trap doesn't have an effect on skoll? the other frost trap works fine on him (the one that freezes the ground, forgot it's name). Since i couldn't freeze it, I died twice trying to tame it since i have no resilience (this hunter is my pve account, i only pvp on my mage and ret).

Oh man, that Paladin is a real Jerk.

Skolls can be frozen. If you are having trouble freezing the beast, ask somebody to help you so that they can heal you or CC the beast while you tame.

Exotic Beasts is a passive hunter ability learned at level 69 for hunters who have chosen the Beast Mastery specialization. It allows the taming of exotic beasts. It was added in Cataclysm Patch 4.1.

I confused the Beast Mastery with Exotic Beasts. In WOTLK, BMs are able to tame exotic beasts.
