Honor gained from bgs buffed. why not?

Hello, Just wondering why the honor amount you receive isn't buffed a little. I remember the honor grind in TBC was brutal. I love the x5 xp while leveling but why not increase the honor rate? wondering if there was a certain reason. Thanks

Experience was buffed months ago for the alliance to promote more people playing there but that ended almost 6 months ago.
