Mailing Heirloom's

Hello,

I recently purchased 2 heirloom items on my main, and mailed them to a new alt. After playing for a few days, I have decided not to play on this alt. I am trying to mail the heirlooms back to my main for storage so that I may use them again in the future with a different alt, should I choose. It is telling me I can't mail soulbound items. These are account bound items. Why can I not mail them? Isn't that the entire point of heirloom gear? Thanks in advance for any replies.

EDIT- After walking away from computer for 10 minutes, it allowed me to send them.
