Technical My game doesn't save my settings

I just registered yesterday, and I tried to join a server through the game (WotlK 3.3.5) which can be downloaded on the website.
But everytime I quit my settings go back to default
How to fix this please?

right click the game folder, go to properties, uncheck read only, click apply. settings should save next time you run the game.
