There are some in icecrown. I remember doing dungeon with a lvl 70 charecter and also a lvl 70 twine who was geared and was killing everyone in Borean tundra

Well lordaeron has an active 70-79 scene,i would say very active but its 1x
You can wait for cross realm bg between icecrown and lordaeron so you can play bgs. Or idk maybe buy/lvl char on lordaeron.
