Blackrock (previously known as Arena-Tournament): The much NEEDED changes

1) The introduction of moderation to the realm. Active GMs on the server who can ban and deal with hackers in arena, world PvP and BGs. We also need GMs to moderate battlegrounds, as people love to afk in a corner and let their character collect honour. These people should be warned/suspended and banned if they continue to ruin the game for everyone else.

2) The replacement of the 264 Relentless meta. This meta is absolutely terrible and has killed off 3v3 arena completely. A brief look at the Blackrock 3v3 ladder tells me the rank 1 team at the moment is 2.2k rating. Which is considerably low for a rank 1 placement. Not to mention, the 264 meta means 2v2 has suffered in quality. You constantly queue into either Warrior/Holy Paladin or Hunter/Disc. Other comps are just objectively weaker with this meta.

Introduce the 284 meta to make more comps viable in 2v2 and refresh the ladder, and also revive the 3v3 bracket. (Endless opportunities from this, 3v3 alive = tournaments etc, realm population grows)

3) Lack of reward. The reward system on Blackrock now is awful. There is no incentive at all to do BG, they provide nothing. Also, the world pvp zone Isle of Quel'danas provides 1 [Badge of Justice] per kill, which we can spend on absolutely...nothing?

Make pve/pvp offset pieces available for honour, and keep weapons, mainset and trinkets available for arena points and high rating. Also either remove Badge of Justice or allow us to spend it on something, for example titles, small pets, vanity items, transmog..etc.

4) Cleaning up the realm. The realm is full of useless NPCs and bits and bobs all over the place that don't make sense and overall makes the server feel lower quality. For example: anyone who's familiar with Blackrock knows that for 25,000 honour you can purchase an Arena Case which can contain transmog items. However there is also another vendor called the Case Trader which sells the *EXACT* same case for 35,000 honour and upwards.

As you can see the Case Trader serves no purpose whatsoever and nobody uses it. Why is this in the game? Just remove it.

5) Generally breathing life back into the realm. Hisue comes on every few weeks to host a 20v20 event. It's boring, 20v20 isn't even a bracket. How about host a 3v3 tournament and the winner gets some prize? It will introduce competitiveness and people will be more eager to play and to take part. Make the events focused on what everyone plays this realm for: 2v2 and 3v3 Arena.

Thanks. It would be a shame to let Blackrock which was a once great realm and the king of WOTLK PvP rot away in the dark. These changes are really simple and just general basic principles of any PvP Realm. Thank you.

A lot of these things should be addressed with the implementation of cross-realm features that we're working on. Once we've done that, and given people time to adjust, we should see then how things are going.

Mercy or other member of the staff, can you give spoilers about the future of the server Blackrock? Will be incluided in the cross-realm?Then you will change the core to do this. Any plans for the arena crossrealms or is too soon?
