removing an enchant

hello everyone

i wanted to replace 12 hit and crit raiting with Nitro Boosts. So i pm a engineer to swap the enchants but it says u must be the owner or smth.
Appreciate any help.

Yes, you have to be an Engineer, and you have to be the one applying the Nitro Boosts enchant to the item.

some professions gives bonus enchants that's much better then normal enchants but you HAVE to be that certain profession and have a certain level of it to make the enchant (For yourself).

Like for example, Enchanters can enchant their own rings with 23 spell power, but you can't enchant someone else rings.
