Software like Pingzapper may result in ban?

Hi,
i ask if this is possible since i have been banned unfairly without have done anything, and after many days of "awaiting staff", the answer is: you defenitely use third party software, while the only third party software i use is pingzapper for a better ping (playing from Asia).

Since you can imagine the level of frustration and disappointment, i am looking at least for a clarifing answer.
