1. Headset

    Hello, people.

I am considering buying Razer Kraken headset. Therefore I have two questions:
    a) If anyone has used it, what is your opinion about it?
    b) Amazon offers 32 mm and 40 mm drivers. What are these at all, which is better and why?

    Best Regards,
    Death

  2. i havent tried Razer but heared that sehnheiser and hyper headests are better.

  3. Tried hyper, its mic did not last too long, although headphones where good. Sadly, microphone is important to me, considering my pc is pretty loud.

  4. Things I'd suggest.

1: USB Connection, 3.5mm is susceptible to interference, crosstalk and just general **** quality.
    2: 40mm drivers are better.
3: Don't need to buy a well known brand, my headset I used for 4 years has been hailed by all my friends as the clearest mic they have ever heard and the sound quality on these are amazing. And are some no-name brand £20 pair. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  5. Razer used to be decent but now the build quality and overall product suck, they'll last up until your warranty expires then fall apart.

Get some Corsair or Sennheiser ones.

What in the holiest of ****s is that?

  6. Alright, is one of these something you are talking about? (considering I don't have 200+ pounds to spend, I'm a student after all)

And can anyone else confirm what Kemii said? (Kemii is not a veteran, so not sure if I can trust without extra confirmation)

  7. What in the holiest of ****s is that?
I've had Sennheisers, I've had Turtle Beaches, I've had Logitech..... and Sadly these cheap ones were better than all of them.

  8. My PX22’s have been going strong since 2013 and I’m yet to find anything that comes close.

  9. i have a turtle beach PLa headset i got for Christmas from my dad which he bought from gamestop, that i've had since late 2014 and i have to end up unplugging it and plugging it back in rarely for some reason ( i actually think they are getting old), and i hear occasional static. i'd buy the headsets from somewhere other than gamestop since scamming the **** out of people is their fetish for some reason. i hears pretty good reviews about skull candy, try to look on ebay. (and dont forget to look at the sellers feedback or you'll end up getting ****ed over by the person with bad feedback you buy them from. i learned that the hard way buying my first computer...

p.s. NEVER EVER EVER look for used ones or seller refurbished ones. i'd suggest looking for some in these conditions: Brand new, New, and Manufacturer refurbished.

  10. I would probably be buying from Amazon.

As I mentioned earlier, I don't have 200 pounds for a headset, limit is like 50 or so at best.

If you have any other good suggestions in that budget on Amazon UK, please tell me about them :) (as I said, mic quality is not unimportant)
