WotLK Gearing a Priest Healer

Hello everyone,

I am thinking of getting myself a Level 80 boost for a priest. After that, what spec do you recommend to gear up when dungeon farming (after getting some BoEs / Crafted / Reps?
Of course, queue times are way shorter for healers so the question lies mainly between disc or holy priest at low gear and for 5 men content.

It honestly doesn't matter much which spec you are playing during the early gearing process. Holy will have more mana issues while Discipline will have a harder time keeping up with damage. For dungeons, if you carry around mana potions and/or water to drink, mana won't be too much of an issue. Discipline requires you to get a fair chunk of spell power before it has much oomph, though that is technically true for both specs.

If damage output is low, both specs have very similar tools to "fire and forget" while you dps (wanding to save mana).
