Let’s face it. PvP players who don’t like arena in 95% of the cases are quite bad AT arena and generally duelling. It’s easier to play BG’s from the aspect of not loosing whole game when you miss/fail to do something. I am the same type as you are, and I’m not arena fan and arena itself is too calculated and too repeating, stressful and less crowded for my taste but, it makes perfect sense for top-end PvP gear to require high arena rating as highly rated arena players are the ones who excel in their class.

We can always donate or get PvE for BG’s :D
