What's up with that player!?

So, there's a Lvl 80 player that has been farming in Dragon's Blight for about 3+ months on Lordaeron realm. He uses all his CDs, never moves away from there and is probably no higher than 2.5k GS. I have him in my Friend's list so I know when he's online and when he is, he's always there.

Is it possible that the player is botting? I heard botters don't reply to chats but he did. If he's a real player, why on earth has he been farming in the same exact spot for 3+ months and never ever moved from there.

I saw a similar case in Arathi Highlands where an Alliance hunter was killing Ogres and every time I attacked him, he simply ignored me and moved on to the next mob, died from me, rez, repeat. I left him after killing him thrice.
