12 hours of painful questing. Couple of days compleing dungeons, leveling proffesions, etc. It is easy, you don't even need a guide. If you have Heirlooms, it is even better.

Mage is easy to level up. You can teleport everywhere and forget about hearthstone and some fly paths

My fastest levelling was with my paladin 7 hrs, Did questing only and more orange/difficult quests skipping the green/grey ones. Was a race with a friend.

Woah there, not so fast. less than a day sure for experienced players like us, but for noobies. Not so much. Depending on how driven and smart they play i'd say about 2 to 4 days easily. Longer if they stay off track.
