Technical I have no sound on Wotlk

Hi,
I first downloaded the warmane wotlk client with new models, I had no sound so I decided to download the old wotlk client and .. I have no sound again.
I have sound on other games and on my computer so I looked in the sound file of the wow client and look what I found :

My audio drivers are uptaded and I still have the problem, nobody can help me ?

Hi Sarkenzx,

What I'm getting from your error message log is that you are having a 7.1 surround sound system, or perhaps a 7.1 surround headphones ("3/24 18:46:52.773 - 64 Channels Requested."). So at this point, you basically requested the game settings to run game's sound through 7.1 system, which you somehow didn't enable in your Sound Setting. Bellow, you will find more insight in the similar situation I had, and doing what I did, it made my problem go away.

I had the same problem with sound. Whenever I entered the game, there was no sound in the log in screen, let alone while playing the game. So I've spent some time examining the problem, and I kept focusing on this part of the message in the log file "######## FMOD ERROR! (err 58) Soundcard does not support the minimum features needed for this soundsystem (16bit stereo output)."

What made my problem solved was in the Sound Control Panel.

You go to your bottom right corner, and right click on the speaker icon. This will lead you to Sound Control Panel, and you should see your Speakers output, or whatever Default device you've selected. Right click on it and get to Properties. In my case, I needed to enable features in Spatial Sound section, which you can see in the link with the picture I've provided. Therefore, this solved my issue of not having sound at all in-game, while all my drivers were updated to the latest.
