1. WTS Character spam in channels.

As I understand it, there is a section on Warmane to sell characters, etc. Why is is ok to spam Global with WTS advertising for preleveled characters? That channel is supposed to be for LFG to find dungeon and raid groups, however with all the WTS character, gold, etc spamming, you can't even see who is looking for what group. You end up with 1 line.. LFG-need tank, 2dps against a solid wall of WTS character spam. There is a section on warmane.com for selling characters.. keep it there, not in game.

  2. Global chat is global.

It is the server-prompt's suggestion that you may find groups by posting in that channel, but there is no rule regulating what content may be posted there.

    Reference: Players Code of Conduct

If you feel the spamming is egregious to the point that it is detrimental to gameplay, you may try screen-shotting and reporting the player under the purview of "No Social Mistreatment or Annoyance". In most cases, this would not likely warrant consideration by a GM and would be promptly dismissed, as there are automated features to prohibit channel-spam.

If you wish to use a pure Looking-for-group channel, join LookingForGroup.

  3. players are allowed to advertise their character/gold/item sales in game, as long as they state they're selling it on the warmane marketplace. global is meant for whatever kind of chat takes place there, not specifically lfg.
