What are points? I see them saying you can use them in the marketplace, but I don't see where to get them from.

Points are free currency that you’re getting for being active and progressive player. The amount of points that you’re going to get depends on the number of achievement points and activity(hopefully I’m not giving wrong info - can’t see my account page from phone because of MFA). In order to be eligible for collecting points you need to have 1k achievement points.
Every day that you login to game, you will be able to collect points. Points can be spent on Warmane store, by clicking on STORE/Services and changing the currency from coins to points. You can not get great items with them, only starter gear.
Only downside to them is that they are being collected very slowly, so it’s much easier to work an hour extra every day and take money from that overtime and donate :D :D, which is what Warmane would like and why points are so-so.

Ok but see now I have my issue with Donating (http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=381720), because of a issue I have yet been resolved or even attempted to be assisted..
