1. ZA test stream link?

    Apparently ZA is being tested currently, or will be soon. If anyone is part of the test group and is able to stream, or has access to a stream, please make it available here or wherever is convenient.

    I believe having as many eyes as possible on the PTR content is in everyone's best interest, if the goal is to release ZA as blizzlike and bug-free as possible. The testers don't always know how the fights should behave, and they aren't always able to notice problems while performing/learning the fights. Spotting bugs is often times much easier via stream/VoD.

  3. I agree with you but I'm not surprised at all. Warmane PTR-testing is not done in a very impressive manner in my experience. Not gonna go into details but yeh, let's say there is a lot to improve in terms of the testing.

    So far it looks better than I thought it would.

    After a quick glance through it I found a couple bugs:

    Shaman is FULLY resisting every tick of this fire:

    Halazzi looks like he has dual wield miss penalty when he shouldn't. He almost never hits the tank and he should be hitting hard and fast:

    Hex lord phase 2 seems very short but that might not be a bug, just better players with better gear than retail.

    He also weirdly faces the person who he is soul draining while still hitting the tank behind him:

    None of Hex Lord adds use their abilities. The Ogre never broke CC early. The snake never spit poison. The Ghoul never uses his knockback or his aoe curse.

    Here is the list of what they should do:

    Far Left (Humanoid)

    Thurg - An ogre melee. [Sap], trap or [Polymorph] can be used. Thurg has some magic resistance and will often break polymorph and traps early.
    Alyson Antille - A blood elf priest. Can be polymorphed or sapped. Her heals need to be interrupted.
    Left (Hibernatable)

    Lord Raadan - A dragonkin which uses flamebreath and thunderclap. Can be slept or trapped. Due to his AoE abilities killing him is highly recommended.
    Slither - A serpent with a poison bolt volley. Can be slept or polymorphed.
    Right (Banishable)

    Gazakroth - An imp. Chain casts fireballs. [Banish] or kill it quickly. He has no aggro list and will target players at random.
    Fenstalker - A Swampwalker type elemental. Can be banished or trapped. Casts Volatile Infection on a player, dealing 1885 to 2115 Nature damage to nearby allies every 5 sec for 30 seconds.
    Far Right (Shacklable)

    Darkheart - An undead wraith melee with an AoE Fear. Can be shackled or feared by a Paladin ( [Turn Evil]).
    Koragg - An undead wight. Can be shackled or feared by a paladin. Casts knockback and a 20 yard AoE curse Cold Stare which deals 1414 to 1586 Frost damage if spell or ability is used.

  6. Why are the gear vendors offering T6 level gear? I find that very concerning when the content starts out at tier 4 up to t5. Having overgeared players will tune this out of of proportion for how the fights are to be designed; as very little provided by the instance are "direct" upgrades from tier 6 level gear (by upgrades, that it is mainly changing stat itemization per item to another 2ndary stat, not overall item level provided).

  7. Cishop these guys are 1 shotting most of the bosses without even knowing how to do them. I don't think you need to worry about them being over-tuned right now.

    "After the Hex Lord reaches 80%, his Soul Drain also gives him a stackable buff which increases his size and the damage of his melee, Soul Drain abilities, and Spirit Bolts. The longer you take to kill him, the harder he becomes."

    I can't quite tell from the video but it doesn't look like this buff is working. Can anyone confirm?

  8. We only do a few guilds, because we have a control environment that can only handle a limited amount of players.
    More eyes can notice more things yes, but even when you have PTR that anybody can access, problems do slip through.

    The Tier 6 is only for initial testing, for later tests we'll provide vendors with lower gear types.

  9. So, the adds DO use their abilities. I think whoever tests next should pay attention to the frequency and timers of those abilities because I still don't see them being used in that video.

    Some things that I noticed that didnt seem to be working as intended:

    Nalorakk - Player was able to take more than 1 charge/surge from boss. Debuff should have killed them.

    Scout on path to Jan'alai was charged stunned and still teleported to drum to call reinforcements.

    Jan'alai - all remaining eggs did not hatch at 30% frenzy

    Halazii - never had to move boss away from water totem which would heal him.
