It might not be a thing for PvE in the TBC but when it comes to pvp it can have a slight effect in certain decisions.

Thats good to hear so we go back to 1xp rate and no item shop or do we keep that? Not seeing the target hp is just annoying i could not think of a good reason to have it that way. But i dont see a good reason for 5x xp rate thats not blizzlike

Well, there is a good reason as stated above, and another even better reason is that u have not done good research, unlike warmane staff, who hosted medihv which was quiet the research in terms of why x5 rates and not x1.
