I started playing WoW just as WotLK came out and after all these years, it's still my favourite xpac, so I decided to delve back into it on Lordaeron.

I've got an Undead Warlock at level 15 in SP and it's taken me right back to 2008.

For people with more experience; how does the server stuck up? It seems pretty authentic so far and I'm really enjoying soaking up the sights again.

You get the odd bugged escort quest here and there. I hear northrend is worse but haven't been there yet. It feels harder to lvl than wotlk back in the day but that could be bad memory and definitely not a bad thing.

The server does pretty well to imitate blizz servers - some comments:

1) Old Raids - They have buffed all raids (TBC and Vanilla) up to hp and damage values of a Wotlk raid. You'll have to find groups to do these...which usually isnt the easiest to find with lordes population.
2) ICC - speaking of raids, might as well talk about the main one in wotlk. Its buffed. Enrage timers are shorter. This cause normal to be as strict on dps as heroic was on live. Needless to say, PUGs pretty much clear 6 /12 bosses MAX. Usually its only 3 (gunship). This is on normal not heroic. I think the top guild clears 10/12 heroic currently.
3) Wotlk raids besides ICC and ToC - no one runs anything else. You might be able to find a ulduar group. Maybe. If you spam global for 2 hours during peak times. But you surely wont do any hard modes. Naxx is pretty much only run in guilds that want achievements as it is also buffed. I dont think I've seen a single Malagos or Sarth run in the 6 months I've been on the server.
4) Leveling is fine. Some quests bug out, but its minimal. Northrend only is bad when server needs a reset and some quest npc fall through the world.
5) Pvp - None. You might get some bgs. they will have the same people in them. Area is no better. if you want games you'll have to spam chat for people to queue for anything thats not 2v2. Wintergrasp is Ok, but usually not a close fight. No one ever defends south towers so it is almost always graveyard camping for most of the battle.
